Our mission is to build Africa’s circular fashion ecosystem by collecting, sorting, and transforming used textiles and footwear into new opportunities.
2. Using Our Website
You may browse our website freely. However, to make a purchase, donation, or subscription, you must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate, current information.
You agree not to use this site for any unlawful or harmful activity, including attempting to gain unauthorised access to our systems or data.
3. Shop Terms
Products
All ACT products are made from recovered textiles. Because of the upcycled nature of our work, variations in colour, texture, or material may occur. This is part of their unique character.
Orders
When you place an order, you will receive a confirmation email. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order if:
- the product is unavailable or out of stock,
- the payment is not authorised, or
- we suspect fraudulent activity.
Returns & Exchanges
Due to the handcrafted and upcycled nature of our products, returns are accepted only if:
- the product is damaged or defective upon arrival, or
- the wrong item was delivered.
To request a return, contact us within 7 days of receiving your order at info@africacollecttextiles.com.
Returned products must be unused and in their original packaging. Refunds (if applicable) will be processed through the original payment method.
4. Donations
Donations made through Donorbox. All donations are voluntary and non-refundable. If you made an error during donation (e.g., wrong amount), contact us within 7 days and we’ll do our best to resolve it.
ACT Foundation ensures all funds are used transparently and responsibly.
5. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, videos, and images, is owned or licensed by Africa Collect Textiles and protected by copyright laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without written permission from ACT.
6. Limitation of Liability
We do our best to ensure our website, shop, and services run smoothly.
However, ACT is not responsible for:
- indirect or consequential losses,
- delays caused by third-party shipping providers,
- or errors beyond our control.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific product or service in question.
7. Third-Party Services
Our website integrates tools and platforms such as Donorbox, WooCommerce, Pesapal, Mailchimp, and Google Analytics.
