Upcycled woven baskets

We partnered with the Isolo Weavers Women’s Group, a collective of over 150 women artisans known for their handmade sisal baskets. ACT provides them with alternative raw materials: unwearable denim, khaki pants, and other recovered textiles. This allows them to weave durable, eco-friendly products while reducing textile waste.

This partnership helps the weavers earn a fair income, adopt sustainable practices, and bring circularity into traditional Kenyan craft.
