New Partnership Between ACT and Zola Afrique

ACT and Zola Afrique join forces to boost textile recovery and circular fashion in Kenya, raising awareness, hosting new collection points, and turning used textiles into renewed products through local collaboration.
New Partnership Between ACT and Zola Afrique

ACT has launched a new partnership with Zola Afrique to support textile recovery, circular fashion, and behaviour change among young people in Kenya. The collaboration aims to normalise the separation of used textiles and increase awareness about where clothes go after their first life.

As part of the partnership, Zola Afrique now hosts an ACT collection point at their shop in the Nairobi CBD, located at Kenya House, opposite KEMU University Towers. Visitors can drop off used textiles and footwear, helping keep materials in circulation rather than sending them to waste.

The launch event brought together several like-minded influencers and partners who support the move toward a more circular textile system. The day highlighted how used textiles can be reused or recycled into new products — and why small everyday choices matter.

The partnership goes beyond collection. ACT and Zola Afrique will also work together to produce, promote, and sell recycled products, strengthening local circular value chains.

ACT and Zola Afrique also featured on the Full Circle show with Joyce Omondi on Switch TV, discussing how to make the textile and fashion industry more circular and how collaborations can drive change.
