Our mission is to transform used textiles into a sustainable future for Kenya and Nigeria. At ACT, we’re not your typical organization; we’re a team of visionaries, innovators, and everyday heroes dedicated to rescuing textiles from the clutches of landfills.
Who we are
We are Africa Collect Textiles! We collect used textiles for reuse and recycling, in Kenya and Nigeria. Our efforts are focused on Africa, our motherland. She is a nurturing, loving, and a caring provider. We recognize that she deserves better. We aim to find solutions to end fashion waste that is causing harm to our environment and people.
Our goal is clear
To create a circular textile economy. We achieve this through ingenious design and a healthy dose of creativity, all while minimizing the environmental impact of the fashion industry and creating valuable employment opportunities.
We believe in giving back
We provide free and affordable clothing to underprivileged communities, breathe new life into old materials, and support charitable causes by donating KES 10 for every kilogram of textiles we recycle.
